Èxode 20v5 no et prostraràs davant d’ells ni els serviràs, perquè jo, Jahveh el teu Déu, sóc un Déu gelós, que visito la iniquitat dels pares sobre els fills fins a la tercera i la quarta generació dels qui m’odien,

לֹֽא־תִשְׁתַּחְוֶ֥֣ה לָהֶ֖ם֮ וְלֹ֣א תָעָבְדֵ֑ם֒ כִּ֣י אָֽנֹכִ֞י יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ אֵ֣ל קַנָּ֔א פֹּ֠קֵד עֲוֹ֙ן אָבֹ֧ת עַל־בָּנִ֛ים עַל־שִׁלֵּשִׁ֥ים וְעַל־רִבֵּעִ֖ים לְשֹׂנְאָֽ֑י׃

Thou shalt not bow down <07812> (08691) thyself to them, nor serve <05647> (08714) them: for I the LORD <03068> thy God <0430> am a jealous <07067> God <0410>, visiting <06485> (08802) the iniquity <05771> of the fathers <01> upon the children <01121> unto the third <08029> and fourth <07256> generation of them that hate <08130> (08802) me;
