1r Reis 19v10 I ell digué: He estat molt zelós per Jahveh, el Déu dels exèrcits, perquè els fills d’Israel han abandonat el teu pacte, han enderrocat els teus altars, i han matat amb l’espasa els teus profetes; i només he restat jo, jo sol, i cerquen la meva vida per prendre-la. וַיֹּאמֶר֩ קַנֹּ֙א קִנֵּ֜אתִי לַיהוָ֣ה׀ אֱלֹהֵ֣י צְבָא֗וֹת כִּֽי־עָזְב֤וּ בְרִֽיתְךָ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶת־מִזְבְּחֹתֶ֣יךָ הָרָ֔סוּ וְאֶת־נְבִיאֶ֖יךָ הָרְג֣וּ בֶחָ֑רֶב וָֽאִוָּתֵ֤ר אֲנִי֙ לְבַדִּ֔י וַיְבַקְשׁ֥וּ אֶת־נַפְשִׁ֖י לְקַחְתָּֽהּ׃ And he said <0559> (08799), I have been very <07065> (08763) jealous <07065> (08765) for the LORD <03068> God <0430> of hosts <06635>: for the children <01121> of Israel <03478> have forsaken <05800> (08804) thy covenant <01285>, thrown down <02040> (08804) thine altars <04196>, and slain <02026> (08804) thy prophets <05030> with the sword <02719>; and I, even I only, am left <03498> (08735); and they seek <01245> (08762) my life <05315>, to take it away <03947> (08800).
