Daniel 5v21 i fou foragitat d’entre els fills dels homes, i el seu cor era amb les bèsties, i el seu estatge era amb els ases salvatges; l’alimentaven amb herba com els bous, i el seu cos era banyat amb la rosada dels cels, fins que va aprendre que el Déu Altíssim té el govern sobre el regne dels homes, i que ell hi eleva el qui vol. וּמִן־בְּנֵי֩ אֲנָשָׁ֙א טְרִ֜יד וְלִבְבֵ֣הּ׀ עִם־חֵיוְתָ֣א (שְׁוִי) [שַׁוִּ֗יְו] וְעִם־עֲרָֽדַיָּא֙ מְדוֹרֵ֔הּ עִשְׂבָּ֤א כְתוֹרִין֙ יְטַ֣עֲמוּנֵּ֔הּ וּמִטַּ֥ל שְׁמַיָּ֖א גִּשְׁמֵ֣הּ יִצְטַבַּ֑ע עַ֣ד דִּֽי־יְדַ֗ע דִּֽי־שַׁלִּ֞יט אֱלָהָ֤א (עִלָּיָא) [עִלָּאָה֙] בְּמַלְכ֣וּת אֲנָשָׁ֔א וּלְמַן־דִּ֥י יִצְבֵּ֖ה יְהָקֵ֥ים (עֲלַיֵהּ) [עֲלַֽהּ]׃  And he was driven <02957> (08752) from <04481> the sons <01123> of men <0606>; and his heart <03825> was made <07739> (08745) like <05974> the beasts <02423>, and his dwelling <04070> was with the wild asses <06167>: they fed <02939> (08748) him with grass <06211> like oxen <08450>, and his body <01655> was wet <06647> (08721) with the dew <02920> of heaven <08065>; till <05705> he knew <03046> (08754) that the most high <05943> God <0426> ruled <07990> in the kingdom <04437> of men <0606>, and that he appointeth <06966> (08681) over <05922> it whomsoever <04479> he will <06634> (08748).
