Daniel 6v12 Llavors s’acostaren i parlaren davant del rei concernent l’interdicte reial: ¿No has signat un interdicte segons el qual, tothom que durant trenta dies demani quelcom a qualsevol déu o home fora de tu, oh rei, sigui llançat a la fossa dels lleons? El rei va respondre, i digué: Això és cert, segons la llei de Mèdia i de Pèrsia, que és irrevocable. בֵּ֠אדַיִן קְרִ֙יבוּ וְאָמְרִ֥ין קֳדָם־מַלְכָּא֮ עַל־אֱסָ֣ר מַלְכָּא֒ הֲלָ֧א אֱסָ֣ר רְשַׁ֗מְתָּ דִּ֣י כָל־אֱנָ֡שׁ דִּֽי־יִבְעֵה֩ מִן־כָּל־אֱלָ֙הּ וֶֽאֱנָ֜שׁ עַד־יוֹמִ֣ין תְּלָתִ֗ין לָהֵן֙ מִנָּ֣ךְ מַלְכָּ֔א יִתְרְמֵ֕א לְג֖וֹב אַרְיָותָ֑א עָנֵ֙ה מַלְכָּ֜א וְאָמַ֗ר יַצִּיבָ֧א מִלְּתָ֛א כְּדָת־מָדַ֥י וּפָרַ֖ס דִּי־לָ֥א תֶעְדֵּֽא׃ Then <0116> they came near <07127> (08754), and spake <0560> (08750) before <06925> the king <04430> concerning <05922> the king's <04430> decree <0633>; Hast thou not <03809> signed <07560> (08754) a decree <0633>, that every <03606> man <0606> that shall ask <01156> (08748) a petition of <04481> any <03606> God <0426> or man <0606> within <05705> thirty <08533> days <03118>, save <03861> of thee <04481>, O king <04430>, shall be cast <07412> (08729) into the den <01358> of lions <0744>? The king <04430> answered <06032> (08750) and said <0560> (08750), The thing <04406> is true <03330>, according to the law <01882> of the Medes <04076> and Persians <06540>, which altereth <05709> (08748) not <03809>.
